behind the silhouetted mountains slowly fading
saturating the evenings’ crystal sky
lies the lazily setting sun
as its slides off into the distance
crisping the fading evening air
the early winter wind caressing all around
and softly whispers in your ear
wish you were here.

Red Ahead
I see a red vehicle up ahead
so I shall stay in this lane instead
a race for sure he will surely dread
the man in the red vehicle up ahead
the light turned green and off i sped
the tires squealed as i wore my tread
as I pulled in front
of the red vehicle up ahead
as I take the lead my tires have bled
the rubber in which the speed has shed
I look in the mirror and realize instead
that I am the red vehicle up ahead!
Hiding Within
a symphony of whispers
tempting in the night
possibilities considered never
beyond the normal sight
uninvited thoughts
become a welcomed friend
what things may come
still hide within a rocky cleft
and burrow deep
in the shadow of your mind
Odoriferous Insemination
The air is good, the air is clear
of stinky smells I have no fear
I long no more for sweet smells that were theft
by the offensive lady behind me who left

What a difference a day makes
when all you want is a chance
to turn a moment into forever
but forever is what it takes
